報告簡介
In this talk, I will try to examine characteristic search behavior of some well-known EMO algorithms such as NSGA-II, MOEA/D, SMS-EMOA and HypE on multi-objective and many-objective test problems. I will start with Pareto dominance-based EMO algorithms. I will examine the search behavior of NSGA-II on multi-objective and many-objective test problems. I will also explain difficulties of many-objective optimization. Next I will explain other fitness evaluation mechanisms: Hypervolume-based and scalarizing function-based methods. Through computational experiments using MOEA/D, SMS-EMOA and HypE, I will explain the importance of parameter specifications in these algorithms. Then I will explain some performance improvement methods form many-objective optimization from a view point of global search for the entire Pareto front and focused search for some small parts of the Pareto front. Finally I will discuss performance examination of EMO algorithms and performance measures for many-objective optimization as a future research topic.
